The Optometry Scotland website has been designed to adhere to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 External Link Icon. This means that anybody using any Input/Output device designed for the Web can use this site.

This website has also been developed to adhere to a minimum of level A conformance of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, but satisfies many other checkpoints laid out in the Guidelines for levels AA and AAA.

Text Size

You can change the size of text on this site by using your web browser settings.

In Internet Explorer you can set this by going to the menu 'View' » 'Text Size' or using the Zoom level at the bottom left of the status bar in Internet Explorer 7 or 8.

In Mozilla Firefox (1 & 2) you can change the size of text this by going to the menu 'View' » 'Text Size'.
In Firefox 3 the size of the text can be changed by using the Zoom feature, it can be found in the menu under 'View' » 'Zoom', you can choose to change the size of the page and the text, or just the size of the text.

In Opera the size of the text can be changed by using the Zoom feature, it can be found in the menu under 'View' » 'Zoom'.

In Safari the size of the text can be changed by going to the menu 'View' » 'Make Text Bigger' or 'Make Text Smaller'.
