NES Training Events

Courses will run between January 2010 to March 2011, with the key clinical skills courses running until December 2011. They are offered free of charge to GOS-contracted optometrists practising in Scotland and are accredited with GOC CET points:

• Communication Skills in Optometry (2 courses) (Glasgow Caledonian University - by attendance; Professional Advancement Committee (PAC) / Specsavers - distance learning)
• Binocular Vision and Additional Examination Techniques (Glasgow Caledonian University)
• Developing Key Optometric Skills (Replay Learning)
• Record Keeping in Compliance with the Current GOS Regulations (Replay Learning)
• General Medicine and its Relationship with Optometry (Replay Learning)
