Optometry Scotland is pleased to present our strategy for 2024 through 2027, which sets out how we intend to continue to advance world-class eye care in Scotland.

While there is much to be proud of, there is still work to be done to collectively ensure that eye care in Scotland becomes more accessible and is available to those who need it.

As we embark on a new year, which will undoubtedly be full of new opportunities and challenges, this focused action plan will ensure that we continue to deliver tangible results for community eyecare in Scotland.

We have identified three strategic priorities which will guide our actions as the industry’s collaborative voice:

•    To lead the GOS and service enhancement agenda for community eyecare in Scotland 
•    To influence policy direction and workforce development for community eyecare in Scotland 
•    To build our collaborative voice for community eyecare in Scotland
