An important update regarding access to the Emergency Care Summary data for patients.  

The Emergency Care Summary and Key Information Summary (Scotland) Directions 2023 will come into force on 2nd October enabling NHS Boards to provide a wider range of healthcare professionals with access to ECS (and KIS) information, which includes helpful information such as known patient medication and allergies.
